SCT3252B Digital Radio Basestation IC

Overview

Sicomm designed two digital radio Basestation(repeater) processors:
SCT3258BND is a DMR repeater processor.
SCT3258BNP is a DPMR repeater processor.

All functions required by TS 102 361(DMR) and ETSI TS 102 658(dPMR) for repeater operation are supported including the mechanism to send preservation frames to keep the channel occupied.

SCT3252B is designed for easy migration from analog repeater. The system designer can start with a typical analog repeater, replacing the 25 kHz or 12.5 kHz channel selection filter with channel filter, and replacing the analog base band processor with SCT3252B together with an external codec, to obtain the simplest form of a DMR/DPMR repeater.
